  I have received so many requests for a tutorial on how to make a skirt from 2 pair of jeans, I thought it would be a perfect way to begin my sewing tutorials! I hope you enjoy it! I control the atmosphere of the household! Who knew?

We have our two 16 year old nephews stay with us most of the summer, usually five out of every seven days. It's so much fun having them and my house seems to come alive with them.As I have mentioned before I am NOT a multi-tasker. I get a little OCD with some things and completely forget about others. So I started list making, what has to be done and what I would like to do. A Fumbling Chef!

During the summer we have our two 16 year old nephews with us 5 days a week. Our home transforms from laid back and quiet to hectic and crazy, and we love every minute of it. Well ... almost every minute! One of the places I have struggled the most is in the kitchen. It seems that I barely get the dishes washed and the kitchen clean from lunch and then I am already starting supper again.
