Thank You Jesus For Healing Me!

Yesterday was a bad pain day for me. I was in so much pain that my body was literally shaking. Tuesday mornings I go to a bible study that my husband preaches at and I didn’t want to miss it. I made myself get up and get dressed. It took longer then usual because I couldn’t stop shaking, but I was determined I was going to get up! I prayed out loud, “Thank you Jesus for healing me! Thank you Jesus I’m not in pain!” I repeated this prayer over and over and over. I was in so much pain I couldn’t think of anything more spiritual to pray. But God knew the intent of my heart. He didn’t care about a long fancy prayer, he cared about my sincerity and faith!

When I got to church I knew God was going to do something amazing. I could feel his presence so strong there I just knew something awesome was going to take place.

In the front of our church we have a chair with a red cloth over it. We call it the healing chair. Anytime anybody needs prayer they can go upfront and sit in the chair and be prayed for and claim their healing. There is nothing special about the chair. It’s just a regular chair. The chair has no power to heal. It’s the act of faith to walk up and sit in the chair and believe that God will meet your needs!

Yesterday there were a lot of needs, and we didn’t start out with the bible study like usual. We started out with people going up to the chair and claiming their healing. One after another people went to the chair and were blessed! I forgot all about my pain as I was praying for the different needs of each individual. I didn’t sit in the chair and pray for myself. Instead I felt a burden to sit in the chair for my niece who was recently told she needs eye surgery.

After I got up from the chair I couldn’t stop crying. I just felt God’s presence so strong I couldn’t stop. But then all of a sudden my crying turned to laughing. It began with a chuckle and a smile. But soon turned in to floor rolling, tear flowing laughter. I was laughing because I knew the victory was already won! Although I can’t see the end of the race, I know how it ends! God Wins! What peace and joy that is!!

It doesn’t matter where we are in life, if we stay on God’s path then we know every battle we face will end in victory! It didn’t matter that I woke up with terrible pain! It didn’t matter what my niece was told by the doctor! It didn’t matter that we only have one vehicle that is not running well! It didn’t matter that My miracle baby is not in my arms yet! Just a little further down the road and it will be accomplished in the name of Jesus!

We have a promise to hold on to today! A promise that He will never leave us nor forsake us! A promise that He will fight our battles! A promise to keep us safe in His arms! I don’t ever want to forget!

I left the prayer meeting saying “Thank you Jesus for healing me” and it wasn’t a request it was a statement! I am healed!
