I’m Guest Posting Today!
Is transferring to Wordpress the right choice for me? I've only been in the blogging world for about a year, but in that short time I've heard (or read) over and over that I should transfer from Blogger to Wordpress. I admit, I was scared to learn a new program and didn't really want to spend money on my blog. But after I researched I realized that transferring was the right choice for me. I'm guest posting today at Raising Mighty Arrows. Click HERE to continue reading ... ~Sarah … [Read More...]

Return To The King ~ Guest Post!
I've recently had the priviledge to meet a wonderful sister in the Lord named Amber. Today I'm pleased to have her guest post and share her testimony of God's grace and redeeming power! Amber writes ... Today I woke up this morning I was reading the bible and just thinking about the Lord & he brought to my mind where all he has brought me from. Some may know my testimony or heard me tell it but for those of you who dont I wanted to share it with you. Most know I was raised in church my whole life, I always knew the way God wanted me to live I just always pushed it aside and thought to myself when I get older Ill live right, but as we all know you cant put a time frame on God. I am so thankful for my mama who loved the Lord & served him for a long time. She always tried to put God first no matter what others thought of her & what stood in her way. I am thankful for that, she instilled alot of things in me that I will never forget. On June 24, 2008 I lost my … [Read More...]

Miracle Monday ~ Miracle Man!
Welcome to this weeks edition of Miracle Monday! Miracle Monday is created for us to share testimonies of faith and miracles that God is still performing. I know the more I read about God’s mighty works, the more excited I get and my faith is increased. Please join me every Monday for an exciting new story of what God can do! This week's miracle is my favorite yet! Three weeks ago, on November 28, 2011, we received a phone call that will forever be remembered by our congregation ... "Brother Mike just died! PRAY!" I remember my heart immediately began racing and I started shaking, "It can't be God! NO! I speak LIFE in Jesus' Name!" The scriptures came to my memory of Jairus's daughter ... Luk 8:50-55 "But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden. And all wept, and bewailed her: … [Read More...]

Stop And … Drink More Hot Chocolate Please!
The saying usually goes "stop and smell the roses" but with winter here there's only the delights of hot chocolate to savor! Being a pastor's wife can sometimes be a full time job, and this month has been full force. With Thanksgiving parties, Christmas parties, shut in's, hospital visits, emergency calls, one of my best friends had her miracle baby, making handmade gifts, writing out cards, phone calls at all hours day and night and financial needs everywhere. The prayers just don't stop going up! And we wouldn't want it any other way! The busyness combined with my recent bout of bronchitis and strep throat has just got me so fatigued and plain ol' wore out. I tell myself, Christmas is almost over, but isn't that awful, to wish away time that is supposed to be so fun and festive. I've been trying to make myself forget about the fatigue and enjoy myself, it's kinda working, but not really. A few nights ago we were out late and I was too tired to eat so I ordered a hot … [Read More...]

Welcome to this weeks edition of Miracle Monday! Miracle Monday is created for us to share testimonies of faith and miracles that God is still performing. I know the more I read about God's mighty works, the more excited I get and my faith is increased. Please join me every Monday for an exciting new story of what God can do! I'm so excited to introduce you today to my dear friend Heather from Raising Mighty Arrows for this week's edition of Miracle Monday! Heather has been a great encouragement and inspiration to me and I thank her so much for sharing her financial miracle with us today! Heather begins... My story took place a couple of years ago and it is still very real to me! I went to the mailbox one particular day and pulled out a letter from our bank, which holds the mortgage to our home. The letter stated (in so many words) that our homeowner's insurance (which is escrowed into our mortgage payment) was coming due the first of the year (it was … [Read More...]

An Original Belle ~ Guest Post!
I recently have been getting to know a beautiful Christian Lady from An Original Belle named Heather! Heather and I have had similar battles with illness and I asked her if she would be interested in sharing her testimony with us! Here is her story! Health related questions. Inquiring concerns. It's what you get accustomed to living with a chronic illness. Pacing activities. Timing trips outside the home. It's a daily occurrence unless you want to pay the painful price later. I've been chronically ill for eleven years. Sometimes I don't even think about that fact because my routine has become adjusted to living within my capabilities. And because I remain at home with my parents, many of what should be my own duties are lovingly shouldered by them. I first became ill when I was thirteen. Although the doctors could not place it, they considered my illness to be a type of Mononucleosis, which must be caught very early … [Read More...]

Miracle Monday ~ Miss Georgia “Peaches”!
To say I am excited to share this weeks miracle would be the understatement of the century! This miracle is very close to my heart, it feels like my very own miracle in fact! But before I tell you about this special miracle, I have to share a testimony about some saints of God who have learned to Stand By Faith when they were told everything they hoped for would never happen. Brother Chris and Sister Andrea are very dear friends of mine! Many years ago Sis Andrea received a prophecy that said "Don't believe the doctor's report." She thought "what is this all about, I haven't gotten a doctor's report." But a short time later those words came back to her. She … [Read More...]

It’s All About Knitting ~ Review
Today I have the exciting pleasure to introduce you to someone very special, my mom, and owner of It's All About Knitting on Etsy. Growing up my mom taught me many crafts including sewing, crocheting, cross stitch, toll painting and many more. But her favorite craft has always been knitting. Here is an adorable picture of my mom, grandmother and nana all knitting together in 1966! Mom was only 18 here! heehe love the glasses!! Every year on our birthdays and at Christmas mom would make us new handmade sweaters with matching outfits for our cabbage patch dolls. We never wore jackets in the fall or spring, we always sported our handmade sweater with matching, and sometimes not matching, hat and mittens. Living in Maine it can get really cold in the fall and winter and mom would place our mittens in the oven on low for a few minutes to warm them up. Here is a picture of me and my older sister Shannon playing in the leaves.I'm wearing my handmade zip up rainbow hoodie! The best … [Read More...]

Standing By Faith Day By Day!
I've been sharing my amazing testimony lately so I thought this would be an appropriate time to share how I walk by faith on a day to day basis. As we all know some days are easier, and some days are very difficult. Here are some of the "treasures" God has taught me on my journey of faith ... 1. BELIEVE! Luke 17:19 "And he (Jesus) said unto them. Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole" You MUST believe that God can do it! Questioning whether he can, doubting if he will, saying that he won't will stop God from doing it! James 1:6-8 "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like the wave of the sea driven in the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways!" Once you ask, stand stead fast that God can and will do it! If you do waver, repent and ask God to forgive you, then start again! It's never to late to believe! 2. Don't underestimate the POWER … [Read More...]
